Day 01, NAIROBI,

Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and transferred to Tamarind Tree Hotel, Nairobi for overnight. Bed & Breakfast included at Tamarind Tree Hotel.


After breakfast at 07.30hrs transfer to the Aberdare Country Club via a coffee farm, arrival in time for lunch. After lunch drive to the Ark Lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Ark Lodge.

Set in the heart of the Aberdare National Park, iconic and quirky. The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Modeled after Noah's Ark, The Ark has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges to provide superb game viewing from the comfort of the lodge. The animals come to you.


After breakfast, enjoy a fascinating drive North through constantly changing landscapes to Samburu Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. The Uaso Nyiro river, Samburu’s life support system, attracts plenty of wildlife as it meanders slowly through Acacia trees and Doum palms. Evening game drive at Buffalo Springs Reserve. Spend the next two nights at Elephant Bedroom Camp. Dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Samburu Camp.

Samburu ecosystem comprises of open savannah which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River. The river is populated by hippos and crocodiles, whilst the park is home to a host of animals including several species which are rarely seen in numbers elsewhere, including Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffes and long-necked gerenuks. Overnight: Ashnil Samburu Camp. (Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)


Morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Samburu Camp.


After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha, stopping en-route for a picnic lunch at Thomson´s Falls Lodge. Dinner and overnight Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. While staying at Lake Naivasha Sopa, clients can enjoy activities including Boat rides, horse rides, biking, outdoor boma dining area, bird watching, nature walks, card & board game and visit to Crescent Island


After an early breakfast, go for a Boat Ride. Later drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve with Picnic Lunches. Enjoy a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at the Ashnil Mara Camp.

Big Cat Safari


An early morning balloon safari over the Mara (optional extra) or take an early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

The Masai Mara is famous for its unique concentration of wildlife, birds, rich vegetation and open savannah. It has been classified among the "Seven Wonders of the World" due to the extraordinary annual migration (July - November) when over 1.3 million wildebeest and zebras cross from the Serengeti to the Masai Mara in search of greener pastures. Less famous, yet very impressive, is the Loita Hills migration, where thousands of local wildebeest come to the Mara North Conservancy (December to May).


An early morning game-drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After lunch proceed on a late afternoon game-drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Day 09: DEPART

After breakfast return to Nairobi, with a picnic lunch from Ashnil Mara Camp en-route. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum. Thereafter proceed with your chosen extension or return home.
